LEARN MOREIf you're using your own vehicle for a road test, it must be safe, properly equipped and suitable for the test. The driver examiner will check the vehicle before the road test begins and may determine that it cannot be used if it does not meet the required standards.
Before test day, check important items such as your lights and signals, tires, windshield and mirrors, wipers, horn and seat belts. Make sure the vehicle is properly registered and insured and that you have the required documents with you.
